  1. Your happiness is never someone else's responsibility.

  2. It's okay to think about yourself only.

  3. Silence from another person is loud.

  4. There are people that are committed to misunderstanding you.

  5. You’ll never go wrong choosing to celebrate yourself.

  6. In the future, you’re more likely to regret not doing it.

  7. Prioritize your platonic friendships.

  8. Take a nap. It's okay!

  9. You can still plan, and plans will fall through.

  10. Your ex is your ex for a reason.

  11. What's the worst that can happen? They say no?

  12. Self-love isn’t always enough.

  13. Your intuition is like a muscle. The more you use it and flex it- the stronger it gets!

  14. If it’s too good to be true, it probably is.

  15. People aren’t just jealous of material goods, they’re also jealous of your personality and energy.

  16. You will play the villain in some people's stories.

  17. Who you are today is the sum of all the decisions you made in the past- good and bad.

  18. Always make time and space for gratitude. Being grateful increases the joy in your life.

  19. Keep reading. Don’t stop reading. It doesn’t matter what kind of book.

  20. Don't go grocery shopping when you're hungry. Don't make decisions when you feel desperate or empty.

  21. What you need and what you want aren’t always the same thing.

  22. Make time for solo time. This may come naturally to some people, but for others (extroverts), intentionally make that time for yourself.

  23. Hobbies are needed- even as adults. Find a hobby and do it!

  24. Quality over quantity. Always.

  25. Stay ready so you don’t have to get ready. (Looks, resume)

  26. Setting boundaries is not a bad thing. People will call you mean, cold-hearted, etc- but I bet you feel more at peace.

  27. There's no rush. Take your time.

  28. Forgive people.

  29. Do what suits you.

  30. Your current age is cumulative of all the ages you were prior to this. I am still the 8-year-old, 17-year-old, and 29-year-old Quinesha!
